We are proud to announce that BallenIsles Country Club is being honored, once again, with the Boardroom Magazine, Distinguished Club Award. This places BallenIsles in the top five percent of clubs in the world. The rating system has been described as a Michelin guide for private clubs and rewards best practices in the industry.

2021 President of the Year Award 

The Platinum status in the Private Club industry has been the most revered since the franchise was established in 1997. Over the years, with the input from the Club Leaders Forum Advisory Board, the criteria has been updated to be relevant and adapt to changing times in the industry. Platinum status is awarded in five categories: Country Clubs, Golf, City, Athletic and Yacht Club. For more than 20 years, Club Leaders Forum has been the go-to resource for the Private Club Industry.

In a continuing effort to strive for Excellence and provide additional benefits to Clubs, Boards, Managers and Members. And we are proud to receive the Honorable Mention for Platinum Clubs of the World in 2024 - 2025. 

     

The Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf is an award winning education and certification program that helps golf courses protect our environment and preserve the natural heritage of the game of golf. By helping people enhance the valuable natural areas and wildlife habitats that golf courses provide, improve efficiency, and minimize potentially harmful impacts of golf course operations, the program serves an important environmental role worldwide.

Audubon International has developed Standard Environmental Management Practices that are generally applicable to all golf courses. These standards form the basis for ACSP for Golf certification guidelines.

BallenIsles Country Club is honored to receive the America’s Healthiest Clubs distinction, which is only awarded to a small percentage of private country clubs across the country. The award focuses on "health and wellness," and is subject to a purely objective process conducted by an onsite visit from a health auditor. From our training, exercise classes, health related educational seminars, menus, spa, physical therapy and outdoor activities, a collective effort has earned us the recognition.

The CMAA (Club Management Association of America) has recognized our BallenIsles Wine Program with a 2019 Award of Merit. This is a first for our Club. In 2019, we are one of only 10 Clubs in America and the only Club in the State of Florida to make list. The CMAA Wine Program Awards are presented annually and honor the best club wine programs at clubs that establish and maintain fine wine offerings for their membership. The awards are a hallmark of quality and assurance of an eminent wine program. Comprehensive scoring categories include factors such as: number of countries and wine producing regions represented, by-the-glass options, varietals, wine events, value, formal wine training program for staff, and many more.

The AGM Platinum Awards recognizes and honors the "best of the best" public, private, resort and off-course specialty shops. As a recipient of this prestigious award our Golf Shop consistently demonstrates efficacious business practices in our retail operations. The program, a combination of the former 100 Best Golf Shops (Golf World Business) and the AGM Front Nine Awards, attracts entries from facilities worldwide.

The Best of Palm Beach County award by the Palm Beach Post honors the county's favorite businesses by nominations. BallenIsles Country Club was awarded the 2021 Best Country Club. We are proud to share in 2022 BallenIsles was awarded Best Country Club, Best Golf Course, Best Fitness Center/Gym and Best Sports Attraction. In 2023 we received Best Country Club and Best Pilates/Yoga Studio and in 2024 Best Country Club, Best Private Golf Course & Personal Trainer. 

We are proud to share that for 2023 BallenIsles received #2 Top Ranked Clubhouses, #21 Top Ranked in Culinary Experiences, #14 for Fitness/Wellness Centers, #4 for Racquet Sports, #6 for Pro Shops and #3 Best Patios.  In 2021 we were honored with #2 for Top Ranked Racquet Facilities, #6 for Best Patios, #5 Locker Rooms, #4 Pro Shops, and #4 Clubhouses. Club and resort properties throughout the country submitted entries and were judged independently by a panel comprised of club professionals from several of the industry’s most well-respected properties

Jackie Medford, our Director of Human Resources, has been recognized as a 2022 Excellence in Human Resources Honoree by South Florida Business & Wealth in the Sports and Entertainment category!
The award recognizes her outstanding ability to build and nurture the talent within our organization with a professional HR skillset that has helped to elevate BallenIsles to the top of our industry.
Jackie has been a loyal and dedicated employee of BallenIsles for 29 years and is a much-admired member of senior management.

Every year, Golf Inc. awards top food & beverage facilities at golf clubs around the world with the Golden Fork Awards. For 2023, BallenIsles placed #1 in the world for Best Food Programming. For the second year in a row, BallenIsles Country Club has been honored by Golf Inc. Magazine with a Golden Fork Award. We are honored to announce BallenIsles is the winner and the first recipient of the Golden Fork Award's newest category - Best Food Programming. We placed third in 2022 in the Food & Beverage Reinvention in Response to the Pandemic category. From internationally inspired culinary events to poolside happy hours, our social gatherings are the core pulse of our community.
