On December 11th, Keplinger, along with her co-proprietor and husband DJ Warner, will be the featured winemakers as part of the BallenIsles Country Club dining program. Her Single Vineyard Rhone Varietals have garnered the attention of auteurs such as Food & Wine, who named Keplinger one of their Winemakers of the Year for 2012, and Wine Spectator, who named her on their list of ‘Four to Watch’ in 2013. Aside from Keplinger Wines, she has also held the reins for brands such as Kenzo Estate, Cellers Melis (Priorat), and Bryant Family Vineyards. Her main focus is on Keplinger Wines right now, which allows for Keplinger to concentrate on creating the perfect, full-bodied wine for gourmands to bring to their dinner tables. During the event they’ll offer members commentary on specific wines, suggest potential pairings, and discuss the process in making wines.
