The BallenIsles Charities Foundation will award financial grants and two Impact Grants totaling a record $1,348,000 to 58 not-for-profit and civic organizations serving the Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. community. “Our goal at the BallenIsles Charities Foundation is to ‘Make a Difference’ in the local community and help our neighbors in need,” says Foundation President Mark Freeman.The BallenIsles Charities Foundation, made up of members and residents of BallenIsles Country Club, recently announced that 58 not-for-profit and civic organizations serving the local Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. community will be recipients of financial grants and two Impact Grants totaling a record $1,348,000.The funds raised are a credit to the generosity of BallenIsles residents, local businesses and corporate sponsors, contributions from volunteers, as well as BallenIsles club management and the community association. Each of the organizations selected to receive a financial grant were carefully vetted through the application and review process.

Organizations receiving grants range from civic programs, health and human services, environmental initiatives to educational programs.“Our goal at the BallenIsles Charities Foundation is to ‘Make a Difference’ in the local community and help our neighbors in need,” said BallenIsles Charities Foundation President Mark Freeman. “The record-setting amount of $1,348,000 brings the cumulative grants awarded to $8.3 million since the Foundation was formed in 2011. The need is so very great in Palm Beach County; therefore our work will continue.”In addition to monetary donations, through the BallenIsles Community Service Committee, BallenIsles’ residents volunteer at local organizations – from feeding the hungry, building homes with Habitat for Humanity and donating household goods and medical supplies, to wrapping presents for children during the holiday season.
