Below are seven of our favorite local ways to get into the spirit of the season.

Christmas and Chanukah in Palm Beach Gardens

The holiday season is here! There is food to be made, stories to share, and time to spend in all kinds of ways with loved ones of all kinds.

With the entirety of Palm Beach Gardens celebrating the season with a variety of activities and events, it’s not hard to find something to do. Below are seven of our favorite local ways to get into the spirit of the season.

Chanukah Under The Stars at Temple Beth-El

On December 7th, Temple Beth-El in Boca Raton opens its doors to the community for celebrating the Festival of Lights with light, laughter, and fun! Kids can enjoy pizza, donuts, latkes, and ice cream alongside bounce houses, face painting, and crafts. Come 6:30 P.M., families can enjoy a Tot Shabbat and listen to the story of the season with PJ Library Storytime. There’s more fun to be had at 7:30, with a Chanukah Shabbat Service, complete with music and a giant Lego menorah lighting!

Boynton Beach Holiday Boat Parade

Having stood as one of the heralds of the holiday season since the Marine Industries Association first hosted it, the Boynton Beach Holiday Boat Parade has helped everyone enjoy this time of year with music, lights, and fancy holiday displays. Come December 14th, families and friends will love searching out for the best waterfront spots to view the parade and finding their favorite displays. A tip: Boynton Harbor Marina and Jaycee Park are popular places with parade goers. At the end of the parade, all boats will be judged on their lights, their enthusiasm, and their themed decor, with cash prizes being handed out to the winners. Best of all, the parade will benefit U.S. Marine Reserve’s Toys for Tots, with boats making dockside stops to collect toys from those watching the event!

Santa’s Enchanted Garden at The Gardens Mall

Visiting Santa at the mall is one of those time honored holiday traditions that are excitedly repeated year after year. Kids of all ages enjoy lining up to see Santa, tell him their holiday wishes. He’s returning to The Gardens Mall again, and he’s bringing his whole holiday village with him! Through December 24th, excited children and their families can walk through his decorated snowscape to tell Santa of their wishes and receive a photo set commemorating this treasured memory. Don’t miss out; this tradition is one that creates a memory that lasts a lifetime.

Holiday Celebrations at BallenIsles

Before heading around the world for his Christmas Eve gift giving Santa’s coming to Brunch at Circle 100 this year! There will be a full buffet, hot cocoa bar with plenty of toppings, cookie decorating and a special appearance by ol’ St. Nick himself! The following day, join your family in a special Christmas Dinner Buffet at Circle 100 anytime from 3:00 to 6:30. And the following week, it’s time to ring in the new year, Studio 54-style! Get dressed up and plan to dance the night away at Circle 100 for BallenIsles’ New Year’s Eve Celebration starting at 8 pm on December 31 with live entertainment Rock With U: DJ Fusion.

New Year’s Eve at The Breakers

Get dressed up in your best black tie wear and head to the Ponce de Leon room at The Breakers for a classy, classic way to ring in the New Year! Cocktails and hors d’oeurves will be served alongside a four-course dinner as you mingle with guests, dance to live music, and wait for the clock to strike midnight. Grab a glass of champagne to help welcome the start of the year, but the fun doesn’t end once the countdown ends. Shortly afterwards, a breakfast will be prepared for all the guests.
