Dining Guide: Palm Beach Garden’s BallenIsles Country Club
If there’s one place that local foodies are being rewarded, it’s in Palm Beach Gardens. The wide range of dining venues, from Christopher’s Kitchen to Seasons 52, is proof of that. When in search of good food, the members of BallenIsles Country Club need look no further than the Club itself.
Chefs work tirelessly to provide works of culinary art for their residents, from the best breakfasts to desserts that serve to look as good as they taste.

Circle 100

As the crown jewel of BallenIsles Country Club’s dining venues, Circle 100 is hard to beat. Their twist on upscale American cuisine offers diners plates such as braised Colorado lamb shank and pan roasted Florida pompano. The food isn’t the only draw here – views that overlook one of the Club’s famous golf courses make this dining venue a sight to behold as well to taste. The daily rotating buffet allows diners a chance at selections ranging from sushi to prime rib.

Evolution

For the culturally minded, Evolution should happily suit them. A globally inspired menu is served in contemporary digs. For members’ enjoyment, plates such as langostino ravioli with masago cream and braised wagyu short rib are offered alongside a complete wine and spirits list. Keep your eyes peeled for one of their famous Wine Dinners, where members sample vinos alongside dishes made to complement them.

Harry’s Lounge

When a drink and light bites will do, so will Harry’s lounge. The extensive list of cocktails and spirits, alongside the baby grand piano that sits within recalls the jazz speakeasies of old. Enjoy a negroni on the front porch, or watch a game fold out on one of the TVs with a Dark N’ Stormy.

BallenIsles Grille and the Rendezvous Room

Whether entertaining grandkids or coming in from a game with friends, the BallenIsles Grille lets members put their feet up and enjoy satisfying food. From breakfast to dinner, the Club’s extensive menu serves everything that anyone could ask for, including the Norwegian Smoked Salmon Platter and the BIG Grilled Cheese, with a Munster, Havarti, and white cheddar cheese combination. With the adjacent Rendezvous Room’s stone hearth oven, residents enjoy freshly made pizza and bagels with each other as well.

Bistro 105

For those in search of Mediterranean-inspired foods, Bistro 105 fits the bill. The dining venue offers residents dishes such as Aglio e Olio served with fresh tomatoes and meatloaf with potatoes and other vegetables. While elegantly decorated, Bistro 105’s atmosphere commands a casual approach from its guests, making them feel like they’re home.

Events

Dining venues are only the beginning at BallenIsles Country Club. The Club’s staff work to ensure that the social event calendars are filled with dining events that introduce gastronomes to the Club’s wide range of culinary offerings. Events include the aforementioned Evolution Cellar Dinners, holiday dining events, themed dinners, and Icons of Wine dinners. Whether enjoying the best of French cuisine or sampling the finest wines that the Club can provide, diners can truly enjoy the fruits of the Club’s labor.

When it comes to country clubs, BallenIsles Country Club is simply unparalleled, in its amenities, in its homes, and especially in its location.  Palm Beach Gardens was quickly determined to be the perfect location for this Club, with its involvement in the arts, its storied past, and the culture and creative works that it’s residents constantly produces today. The area’s investment in creators and their endeavors has proven tempting for chefs such as Mike Moir of Leftovers Café and The Food Shack fame. His credo of utilizing local ingredients when possible and creating wild flavor combinations has garnered notice from publications as relevant as The New York Times. The dining scene is just one way that Palm Beach Gardens has caught the eye of many – another would be its connection to its past. The residents of this town work to maintain these connections, so that the denizens of Palm Beach Gardens will always be able to know and acknowledge where they came from, and where they will go. One such effort can be found at the John D. MacArthur Beach State Park. Here is where volunteers work to care for the park and educate visitors on the area’s natural and human history, as did the park’s namesake years ago. Today, guests learn about the flora and fauna that dominate the area, kayak and paddleboard through its waters, and lie back on the soft white sand that makes up this park’s beaches.

This Palm Beach Gardens community offers luxury living in a tropical setting, with amazing amenities to boot. Three golf courses – the East Course, the North Course, and the South Course – offer an individual challenge to each resident who tries them. A practice driving, chipping, and putting course lets players prepare to take on other challenges, as do the on-site clinics and professional golf staff tutoring that the Club provides. BallenIsles is highly recognized for its offerings in regards to tennis, including 23 tennis courts, with twenty of them being Har-Tru clay courts. One stadium course, and two permanent pickleball courts are also provided. For those looking to improve their game, private lessons and clinics are provided. Members face off in club tournaments that are held throughout the year as well.

At the Club’s Sports Complex, members have access to cardio and strength machines, along with private trainers who can work with them to meet their health goals. Fitness classes ranging from Pilates to yoga allow members to work out with friends. An on-site Dog Park lets the pups of BallenIsles Country Club meet and greet each other, and trails that wind throughout the Club allow residents to work in a walk while enjoying South Florida’s natural beauty.

With its full social calendar and proximity to all that Palm Beach Gardens has to offer, BallenIsles Country Club allows for lovers of music, art, the outdoors, and life to take advantage of the local scene better than anywhere else. In addition, whether your sport of choice is tennis, golf, or swimming, or anything else, you’ll find something to enjoy within this gated community. See for yourself when you see the active community calendar, filled to the brim with exciting tastings, speaker sessions, holiday parties, golf tournaments, and other social events.
