 The lifestyle available at BallenIsles has always been a top priority and the Club has never faltered at ensuring excellence in all Member experiences onsite. Today, maybe more than ever, providing that experience in a safe and still enjoyable way is paramount. For this reason the Club has developed safety guidelines and protocols for all facilities and staff to follow to ensure that our Members’ experience at BallenIsles continues to remain both safe and enjoyable while always following the CDC guidelines, recommendations and considering what other local Clubs in our market are doing. Check out a few of the ways we’re achieving this now:
CLUBHOUSE AND SPORTS COMPLEX
Health screenings continue to be in place upon entry to the Clubhouse or Sports Complex with all employees required to wear masks and have daily temperature checks. Members and Guests must also have their temperature taken at our automated temperature check kiosks and will receive a green sticker upon entry provided their temperature is normal. Masks are also required when entering any indoor location at the Club and also in outdoor locations where social distancing is not possible. All reception desks and concierge locations are equipped with plexi-glass ensuring conversations between Members and staff are safe.
The Fitness Center at the Sports Complex has a limited capacity of 25 users at any one time and all equipment is sanitized and must be wiped down before and after use. Virtual Training sessions are also a popular choice for those more comfortable at home and you can now book our group exercise classes easily within the BallenIsles App.
Throughout the property air purification systems have been installed to improve the overall air quality and the staff continues to sanitize frequently touched and high traffic areas.
DINING
The Food & Beverage team has done an incredible job of adjusting to the dining restrictions while still offering safe social activities such as the live virtual wine tastings, utilizing the outdoor terraces accompanied by live music, mixing it up with themed action stations and outdoor movie nights. Members are also still enjoying the convenience of the BallenIsles Marketplace, which offers both curbside pickup and home delivery services.
GOLF & TENNIS
The tennis courts continue to be active and all three championship golf courses have seen record numbers of rounds. For golf, the fleet carts are available and are constantly sanitized prior to use. Cart users are limited per cart to one, unless they are from the same household. While in play, PVC has been added for easy removal of golf balls from the hole without touching the flagstick. The tennis department has also put guidelines in place to ensure that play adheres to social distancing guidelines. Members will find various forms of communications outdoors to inform players of when to wear a mask outside and where not to congregate.
