The Fitness Park
For those looking for a way to stay active while also appreciating the luscious greenery around them, the Fitness Park is the place to be. This Park features a one-mile-long fitness trail with 17 workout stations along the way. From stretching to cardio to strength training, each station offers a different way to stay fit. Signs posted at each station not only provide instruction on how to use the equipment, but also offer different modifications for a lighter or more intense workout. This ensures that residents meet their personal fitness goals at their own pace. Whether residents prefer to exercise, stroll along the path, take a walk in the butterfly garden, or just sit in the gazebo area, everyone will enjoy the sanctuary and peacefulness this park provides.
Four-legged friends are also taken care of in the two separate dog parks. These two parks – one for larger dogs and one for smaller dogs – allow larger-breed dogs a separate area to play without intimidating smaller dogs. This way, all furry friends can play, run around and enjoy the company of other pups.
Neighborhood Park
A stop at the Neighborhood Park might help Members with children or grandchildren find the close-knit community connections many residents enjoy. For little ones, the children’s playground is full of slides, swings and a sand pit for kids to enjoy. There is also a smaller toddler area within the playground for the youngest children to play in. ¬¬The basketball and volleyball courts are constantly filled with pick-up games or community events. Finally, while watching your children or grandchildren play, adults can unwind in the scenic picnic area. Here, residents can relax, bring a bite to eat and gaze in amazement at the beautifully manicured oasis surrounding them.
“It’s so nice to not have to go on vacation to find a sanctuary,” said Mr. Walker, member of the BallenIsles community. “My son gets a lot of use of the basketball courts and loves to meet friends there regularly.”

The three championship and historic golf courses are surrounded by glistening lakes and mature tropical gardens that truly showcase the beauty of BallenIsles. The East and North courses were designed by two of the most highly acclaimed golf course architects of the era: Dick Wilson and Joe Lee. Known as “The Open Doctor” all over the world, famed architect Rees Jones recently redesigned the South Course. Also, the East course and practice facilities are set to soon undergo renovations by Jack Nicklaus. Over the years, the courses are enhanced with innovative and state-of-the-art updates to make it playable for champions and beginners alike.
