 With three championship golf courses designed by legends of the game to playing host to world tours and golf classics, BallenIsles Country Club has an exemplary golf history spanning over 50 years. Now, this private club community in Palm Beach Gardens is excited to announce another addition to its impressive golf lineup. PGA Professional Alex Noren has officially announced his affiliation with BallenIsles Country Club. Noren will join Adrien Pendaries and Ben Silverman representing BallenIsles on the PGA Tour worldwide. BallenIsles will officially be Noren’s home base for training purposes.
Meet PGA Professional Alex Noren
Born in Stockholm, Sweden, Noren was a natural-born athlete who grew up playing all kinds of sports. At age 8, he decided to focus solely on golf and scored his first hole-in-one at just 12 years old. After playing collegiately at Oklahoma State, he has spent the past 16 years between the European Tour and PGA Tour becoming a very accomplished player. Noren is ranked number 39 in the world, has 10 wins on the European Tour, and was also a part of the victorious 2018 Ryder Cup Team, where he went 2-1-0 against the Americans and beat Bryson in his singles match. Noren is excited to join the BallenIsles community, as he appreciates the caliber of the courses, practice facilities, and resort-style amenities BallenIsles provides.
Championship Golf for World-Class Golfers
Designed to the exacting standards of highly acclaimed golf course architects, BallenIsles Country Club’s three championship courses provide challenging yet exciting layouts surrounded by natural beauty. Each regulation par-72 course plays at a championship level from the back tees and as a very playable course for those of all skill levels from the more forward tees. The South Course is a challenging, but fair layout that fully rewards strategy and accuracy. The North Course winds through lakes and nature preserves, encouraging golfers to play within their capabilities. Finally, the East Course winds through several wildlife habitat areas, making it common to spot waterfowl and exotic birds while playing. With the renovation of the East course nearly complete by Nicklaus Design, all three of the Club’s acclaimed courses will have received state-of-the-art updates by legendary designers, Rees Jones (South) and Kipp Schulties (North) within the last decade.
Innovative Health and Fitness Facilities
Along with championship golf courses, our professional players and Members have access to world-class practice facilities to strengthen their game. Practice grounds include a double-sided driving range, each with a large portable shape canopy, along with multiple chipping, putting, and practice bunkers to hone your golf skills. In the Spring of 2023, the newly constructed ’71 Golf Learning Center will be the envy of Palm Beach Gardens and the epicenter for golf instruction, custom fittings, and club repairs. The center will feature four enclosed practice and learning bays will feature state-of-the-art technology, including Trackman and Sam Putt Lab, a retail space, and a dedicated club repair area.
Recognized as one of America’s Healthiest Clubs, the 65,000-square-foot Sports Complex ensures Members are supported in their health and fitness endeavors off the greens as well. From state-of-the-art strength and cardiovascular equipment to aerobics and Pilates rooms, BallenIsles is consistently evolving this space to ensure Members have access to the best equipment available. BallenIsles’ racquet facilities are also second to none, with 20 Har-Tru clay tennis courts, nine permanent pickleball courts, and one hard court.
