Celebrating the Holiday Season in Palm Beach Gardens
December 2: Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade
The Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade begins the holiday season with a festive flair. This family-friendly event features up to 80 boats of all sizes, each decked out in holiday décor and adorned with thousands of simmering lights. A floating fireworks display leads the way, guiding the procession down the Intracoastal Waterway from the North Palm Beach Marina to Jupiter in this illuminating event.
December 3: Christmas at Whitehall
Whitehall, the Palm Beach home of Henry Flagler, is transformed into a winter wonderland every year. The focal point is a 16-foot-tall Christmas tree, adorned with colored electric “fairy” lights and traditional Gilded Age-style ornaments. December 3rd’s lighting ceremony will feature festive music played on the Odell organ and Steinway grand piano, a special choir performance, and an appearance from Santa Claus.
December 3-24: Holiday Tree Celebration
Downtown Palm Beach Gardens combines holiday cheer with the spirit of giving with its Holiday Tree Celebration. Participating shops and restaurants have paired off with local non-profits in a friendly competition to decorate the best holiday tree. Visitors are invited to take a stroll through Downtown Palm Beach Gardens and vote for their favorite tree. The winner will receive a $500 donation from Downtown Palm Beach.
December 10: Community Chanukah Lighting Event
The Gardens’ Farmer’s Market is gearing up for a vibrant Chanukah Community Celebration, offering an array of festive activities for all. The event kicks off with a Menorah lighting extravaganza, featuring local dignitaries illuminating the night. Engage in hands-on Chanukah crafts suitable for both kids and adults, adding a creative touch to the celebration. Treat your taste buds to deliciously crispy latkes, or groove to the lively tunes of Klezmer music.
December 11: Chanukah Celebration at The Square
Join the Downtown Jewish Center Chabad and Palm Beach Synagogue for a high-energy family-friendly Chanukah celebration at The Square. The afternoon will feature lawn games, live music, delightful food sampling, and interactive characters. A brief candle-lighting ceremony will conclude the event.

BallenIsles families will unite in Harry’s Lounge to mark the beginning of Chanukah. Rabbi Vigler will lead the ceremonial menorah lighting and offer a few songs to celebrate the holiday season.
December 24: Christmas Eve at Rockefeller Center
BallenIsles invites Members to experience their own Rockefeller Center right here in Palm Beach Gardens. Members can glide and twirl on the ice at the ice skating rink, providing a day of family fun. A complimentary hot cocoa bar with toppings and Christmas-themed doughnuts will also be provided.
December 26: Family Pickleball Day
Family Pickleball Day at BallenIsles offers an ideal setting to bond and compete alongside family members. The intergenerational pickleball tournament encourages Members to team up with their children or grandchildren, fostering an inclusive and spirited atmosphere at the courts.
December 27: Family Holiday Golf Tournament

December 31: Dance ‘til the Ball Drops Party
BallenIsles Members will end the year in style at the Dance ‘til the Ball Drops Party. Harry’s Lounge will transform into a pulsating dance floor, with a DJ keeping the beats going all night light. Indulge in late-night bites and a champagne toast at the stroke of midnight.
