Two Dog Parks
Open from dawn until dusk, BallenIsles is home to nearly 6,000 square feet of dog parks. These two parks – one for larger dogs and one for smaller dogs – allow larger-breed dogs a separate area to play without intimidating the smaller dogs. Once inside the gated park, dogs can be unleashed to play, run around, and enjoy the company of other pups. There is also a shaded pavilion between the two parks with picnic tables and benches where members can relax while their dogs run free.
Yappy Hour
Special Yappy Hours with ice cream treats for our furry friends are hosted within the dog parks. This social event allows dogs to play with one another, and members a chance to talk with fellow dog lovers. The event normally runs two hours, as homeowners love the daily opportunity to play fetch and spend quality time with their four-legged friends.
Go for a Walk
Surrounded by unforgettable natural beauty, BallenIsles has devoted 21 acres of its land into two distinct parks. The Fitness Park was built to be pet-friendly, with a one-mile-long-fitness trail. Here, residents can exercise, stroll along the path, take a walk in the butterfly garden, or just sit in the gazebo area to enjoy the sanctuary and peacefulness this park provides. Walking paths also stretch through the entire community, offering plenty of places to explore and exercise.
Pet-Friendly Palm Beach Gardens
When it’s time to explore the area surrounding BallenIsles, members do not have to leave their dog behind. Jupiter Dog Beach, Peanut Island, John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, and numerous other pristine beaches allow dogs on the sand, some even permitting them to be off leash. The restaurants and shopping districts in the area are also pet-friendly. Numerous restaurants along the waterfront have dog-friendly patio areas to enjoy. In Royal Poinciana Plaza, four-legged friends are welcome in any stores displaying the Royal Pups decal on its storefront. Worth Avenue and Grandview Public Market also allow dogs, with watering fountains and treats spread around these outdoor shopping areas.
