36 Holes of Championship Golf
Designed to the exacting standards of highly acclaimed golf course architects, BallenIsles Country Club’s three championship golf courses provide challenging yet exciting layouts. Each regulation par-72 course has undergone state-of-the-art updates by legendary designers within the last decade. Redesigned by Rees Jones, the South Course is a challenging but fair layout that fully rewards strategy and accuracy. The Kipp Schulties-redesigned North Course surrounds golfers with lakes and nature preserves, encouraging play within their capabilities. Finally, the East Course recently reopened after a renovation by Nicklaus Design. The course winds through several wildlife habitat areas, making it common to spot waterfowl and exotic birds while playing. Along with championship golf, Members have access to world-class practice facilities to strengthen their game, including the new 16.6 acre BallenIsles Practice Grounds now open and the innovative ’71 Learning Center opening March 2023.
“When I was a young man, I caddied at a golf course very comparable to BallenIsles,” shared Richard Kaufman. “I knew that when I grew up, I always wanted to be a Member of a terrific facility like that. Top-Ranked Club Racquet Programs
For Members who prefer to release their competitive side on the courts, BallenIsles’ racquet facilities have placed forth for Top Ranked Racquet Facilities nationwide by Club + Resort Business. 30 courts are filled with lessons, clinics, and events for all skill levels, with 20 Har-Tru clay tennis courts including a stadium court that seats up to 500 people, nine pickleball courts, and one hard court.
With all of the exciting amenities available at BallenIsles, Member Kileen Kaufman loves how easy it is to stay busy. “There’s something to do here almost 24/7,” shared Kaufman. “You can always find someone to play tennis with or play golf or play cards.”
